Petroleum engineering

                          Petroleum engineering graduates launch their careers at Apache in a proven program designed to accelerate the development of technical expertise and business knowledge via practical experience, targeted training and project ownership. Participants take responsibility for engineering recommendations as they rotate through six fast-paced assignments over a three-year period. Participants demonstrate initiative and desire to succeed as they work in production, reservoir, completions and drilling engineering groups in Apache’s U.S. regions based in Houston, San Antonio and Midland, Texas. In addition, participants further strengthen their technical skills with rotations in field operations, hydraulic fracturing design, advanced reservoir engineering and exploration evaluation. Experienced mentors guide and challenge participants to identify investment and cost-saving opportunities and then put those ideas into action.
